About Crab Apple Farm

Crab Apple Farm is a small family-run farm in Hunters Mountain, Cape Breton.

We’re Stephanie and Dan, and we purchased the property in 2022. What started as a dream of growing our own food has gradually grown into a small farm serving customers across Cape Breton.

Today, we grow vegetables, herbs, flowers, and nursery plants for our community. We sell what we grow through our online shop, local farmers’ markets, and the Cape Breton Food Hub.

Our farm is still very much a work in progress. From expanding the gardens to caring for a wild old apple orchard, we’re slowly building the kind of place we hope will be here for generations to come.
