Salsola, also known as saltwort or land seaweed, is a specialty green with a naturally salty flavour. It has the ability to grow in salty soils, and has the ability to draw salt out of soil (enhancing its flavour). It grows best in full sun and warm conditions. Typically harvested young for fresh use.

We offer free delivery within 15 km of Hunter’s Mountain, including Baddeck, Middle River, and Wagmatcook. Delivery is also available across the rest of Cape Breton on orders over $45.
